This site will go “live” coincidental with the start of spring hockey. A couple points about the site worth noting, and they’re mostly all about calendars:
This site features a Google calendar. The calendar embedded in the sidebar at right defaults to an “Agenda” view, which shows upcoming events in a list format. Click on any event for more information. You can link to a full calendar by clicking the “Google Calendar” icon at the bottom of the Agenda list or the Calendar tab at the top of the site.
Sync this calendar with your own — and get updates automatically. Instructions for syncing this calendar with your personal calendar or PDA are also on the Calendar tab. Once you’ve synced with the site’s Google calendar, all updates will automatically push to your calendar or PDA.
Choose one, two or all calendars. There are four different calendars that comprise the site’s overall calendar: JV, Varsity and All-Club; plus Girls if that’s something the club decides. The default view on the website shows all of them, but you can choose as many or few you’d like — click the Calendar tab at the top of the page for instructions.

Make the site better: Be a Jimmy Olsen. Or Lois Lane. The current site set up includes a section to feature photographs. It would be great to swap these out regularly, so please feel free to break out your snappy zoom lens, take a few snaps at a game and throw the photos our way. We’ll get them posted. And if you’d like to submit news — game recaps, event information, philosophical reflections you had while sitting in the stands — throw those our way as well. “Contact This Site” in the lower right sidebar has our email address.

This site doesn’t accept comments. Though it’s built on a blog platform, comments have been closed for all posts on this site. A lively LT hockey chat would be terrific, no doubt about it, but this is a public site, so who knows what kind of trolls could wander in and say all kinds of god-awful things. You’ll have to have your LT hockey chat the old fashioned way: face-to-face. Good luck.
